On Positivity at Work

This recent New Yorker article explores the idea of requiring workers to "maintain a positive work environment." While I agree that employees should not (and, in fact, cannot) be forced to "be positive," all the benefits of fostering a positive work environment can be achieved another way...

By creating time and space for organic, authentic, and genuine community building among colleagues and coworkers.
