Productivity Hack: Waking Up Earlier

I'm currently obsessed with this article about taking back control over your life by waking up earlier. I say this as a complete, 100% NON-morning person.

But, as the author says,

  • we are holding ourselves back by letting most of our waking hours be dictated by other people's demands;

  • we are most focused, alert, creative, and motivated first thing in the morning; and

  • you can start trying this by "having your only goal be setting an alarm that goes off early in the morning." Being overly ambitious here (if you're not a morning person) is a setup for failure.

So far, I've only tried it for one day, but have accomplished a lot even before 9am and hey! what's that they say about a Journey of 1000 miles...?
