5 Questions to Ask Yourself at Year-End

It’s one of the busiest times of year right now so I’m keeping this short and sweet! The end of the year (and the start of another) is a great time to reflect and refocus. And this year, we’re on the cusp of another decade, which makes it feel like an even more powerful moment in time!

Here are five questions to ask yourself this month to kick off some deeper reflection – or to bring yourself some clarity and groundedness relatively quickly:

  1. When I think back on this past year, what am I proud of myself for? This can include accomplishments, of course, but can also extend to personal growth and states of being that you’re proud of (in other words, think about the “doing” and the “being”).

  2. What lessons did I learn in 2019?

  3. What surprised me from this past year?

  4. How do I want to feel in 2020?

  5. What do I want most when I think about 2020? (Again, consider things you can do and ways you can be.)

Wishing you well as we say goodbye to 2019 and hello to 2020!
