5 Questions to Ask Yourself at Year-End [Updated for 2024]

Between end-of-year deadlines and holiday commitments, finding time for reflection can feel impossible.

But as we prepare to transition into 2025, even a brief pause can help us take stock of where we've been and where we're heading. Yes, even after a rollercoaster of a year.

These short-and-sweet questions are designed to bring clarity and groundedness–whether you have 5 focused minutes or a quiet hour to ponder:

  1. When I think back on this past year, what am I proud of myself for? This can include accomplishments, of course, but can also extend to personal growth and states of being that you're proud of (in other words, think about the "doing" and the "being").

  2. What lessons did I learn in 2024?

  3. What surprised me from this past year?

  4. How do I want to feel in 2025?

  5. What do I want most when I think about 2025? (Again, consider things you can do and ways you can be.)

Wishing you well as we say goodbye to 2024 and hello to 2025!
